Structural functionalism theory guided this research. The analysis established that FBOs can help mitigate GBV through offering support services, theological reflections and reforms, collaboration with other agencies of interest and engagement of boys and men in various gender programs. The study thus concludes that FBOs should take an active role in disseminating their duties as they hold a distinctive position of influence in the community which can amply the fight against GBV. The study, thus, recommends that deliberate efforts by the government and other well-wishers should be put in place to help strengthen FBOs in fighting GBVs through a coordinated and collaborated approach. Finally, the leadership of various churches should question the doctrinal background against Gender-based violence and see how to harmonize the two, which seem to be working against each other.
