The African Journal of Empirical Research (AJER) is a publisher of peer-reviewed journals and other empirically driven works. The aim of the journal is to provide researchers, students, and professors with up-to-date multidisciplinary literature. This is for purposes of enhancing easy exchange of ideas, review of research and expertise among academics. We accept papers that are based on empirical research, meta-analysis and systematic review of extant literature. Upon receipt, these papers are meticulously reviewed by highly qualified and experienced scholars and published at an affordable cost.

Established in East Africa, the journal aims at facilitating the distribution and publication of research that reflects the ever-changing requirements of academics from a multiplicity of disciplines. All content is published on an open-access basis. This means that there is unrestricted access, distribution and reproduction of all published work as long as it is correctly cited.

The journal is published in an electronic format in quarterly volumes. Papers are accepted at all times and included in the next volume. The journal accepts the following type of works:

1.Research papers- this is a paper that presents the findings of an already concluded research. This includes papers based on empirical research, meta-analysis and systematic review of existing literature

2.Innovations- this is an article that presents new procedures or devices. Clear and easy to understand diagrammatic representations of these innovations are often required unless express exemptions are provided by the author

3.Selected conference papers: These are papers presented in past conferences. This is done in special editions in collaboration with the conference committee and/or guest editors.
